Message : The SBC has a lot more potential, granted by its sheer size. But these mods should show something on the dyno. It's hard to believe that an intake, exhuast and ECU can make the same power as an intake, exhaust, ECU, ported/polished heads, ported/polished TB's/intake, cams, headers, etc on the exact same motor. There seems to be a missing variable. It makes absolutely no sense, other than the fact that the engine management system cannot compensate for the mods, not allowing output to be optimized. There has to be something??

>>>> more gains but it all still boils down to air flow/displacement...there really is no subsitiute for cubic inches other than forced induction to pump more air/fuel through an engine. I definitely think 300bhp can be gotten out of an NA 3.0 v6 ( 100bhp per liter should be doable.. just look at honda...)but I do think it would be necessary to have it done by a custom engine management system along w/the mods you have listed.
